More About Dilip

Board Member

Mr. Bhavnani has over 30 years of business management, development, and marketing experience, including extensive experience in construction and development, finance, product development, intellectual property, and international trade.

Dilip has been actively involved in revitalizing the Los Angeles Arts District since his group’s first investment in the neighborhood in 2012. As a founding member and the first Chairman of the Arts District Los Angeles (non-profit) and the Arts District Business Improvement District, Dilip and his associates have attracted over $10 billion in new developments in the neighborhood and quality tenants such as Warner Music, PayPal (through Honey Science), Spotify, SciArc, etc.

Deeply involved in the neighborhood, Dilip oversaw the entitlement work and ran all the community meets for the Aliso Apartments which is currently the largest development in the Arts District. He has also helped many property owners and business owners in securing community support and their required Conditional Use Permits.

Dilip is very involved politically with the old and current City Council Member, Metro and the Mayor’s office. He has been an integral part of the CM’s team in creating a new plan to build homeless housing to try and alleviate the problems so many Angelino’s unfortunately face today. His management style is characterized by responsiveness and seamless performance. He makes sure it is done, and done right.
